- ThermaChange is a UK-owned company developing innovative, patented technologies and approaches for hazardous waste treatment, storage and resource recovery.
- Established in 2017, ThermaChange has developed technology that transforms asbestos-containing waste into a safe, reusable building material using renewable energy and not fossil fuels. We have since expanded our operations to include the treatment and storage of non-fuel nuclear materials.
- Our unique technology enables us to safely dispose of hazardous material in a way that supports a more circular economy, our goal is to create good, long-term jobs and apprenticeship opportunities in communities across the UK.
- ThermaChange currently has a small team who work alongside specialist partners and organisations across the waste, construction, infrastructure and nuclear sectors. In 2024, we were selected to lead an innovative Nuclear Decommissioning Authority partnership exploring improved approaches to managing asbestos waste arising from legacy nuclear sites.
